Unless we link to a different policy or state otherwise, this Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use our websites, learning management system (Moodle), mobile applications, or related services (the “Services”). It also applies to our students, including those from LGUs/NGAs, corporate clients, and individual learners.
By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You may not use the Services if you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Services.

1. What Data We Get
1. We collect certain data from you directly, like information you enter yourself, data about your learning progress, and data from third-party platforms we integrate with (including CompTIA). We also collect some data automatically, like information about your device and what parts of our Services you interact with.
1.1 Data You Provide to Us
To create an account, we collect your email address, password, name, and account settings. For government or corporate clients, we may collect organization name, position, and official contact information. We assign you a unique identifying number.
You may choose to provide a photo, headline, biography, organization, sector (LGU/Student/Corporate), or other data. Some Profile Data may be visible to instructors.
We collect data about your progress including: courses started/completed (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3), quiz scores, assignment submissions, completion certificates, forum posts, and time spent on activities.
We collect billing name, address, and ZIP code. Payment processing (including downpayments and installments) is handled by our secure payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers.
When you contact support, we collect your name, email, and the content of your message. Legitimate interests (customer support)
1.2 Data Collected Automatically
IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers.
Pages visited, time spent, features used, search queries, click data, course progress.
Country and city based on your IP address.
1.3 Data From Third Parties
When you access CompTIA’s platform (Level 2) through our LTI 1.3 integration, CompTIA may share completion data and progress information back with us. This allows us to automatically enroll you in Level 3. CompTIA’s collection and use of your data is governed by their privacy policy.
We may also receive data from Facebook or Google if you log in using those credentials.
2. How We Get Data About You
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. These allow us to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use our Services.
Strictly Necessary Login, security, cart functionality – required for the Services to work.
Functional Remember your language preferences and progress.
Performance Analyze usage, improve course content, measure email open rates.
Advertising Show relevant ads (limited use; we do not sell student data).
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features (like checkout or course progress) may not work properly.
3. What We Use Your Data For
We use your data to:
Provide the Services: Enroll you in Level 1 upon purchase, track your progress, issue completion certificates, and automatically progress you to Level 2 (CompTIA) and Level 3 (Capstone) upon completion of prior levels.
Process Payments: Handle downpayments, installment plans, and corporate invoicing.
Communicate With You: Send enrollment confirmations, payment reminders, course updates, and support responses.
Improve Our Programs: Analyze completion rates, identify difficult modules, and enhance course content.
Ensure Security: Prevent fraud, verify student identities, and protect against unauthorized access.
Comply With Legal Obligations: Maintain records as required by Philippines law (Data Privacy Act) and tax regulations.We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. After account termination, we retain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., to complete transactions or prevent fraud).
4. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only as necessary to operate our program:
Instructors & Teaching Assistants To provide feedback and support. We do not share your email address with instructors.
Name, course progress, assignment submissions, forum posts.
CompTIA To enroll you in Level 2 (AI Prompting Essentials) and sync completion data back to us.Name, email address, course enrollment status, completion data.
Payment Processors (Stripe, PayPal) To process payments (downpayments, installments, full payments).Billing information, payment amount. We do not share full card details.
Hosting & Service Providers To operate our WordPress, Moodle, and database systems.All data as needed to provide the Services.

5. Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect your data, including:
SSL encryption on all pages (WordPress and Moodle)
Regular security updates
Daily automated backups
Secure LTI keys stored as environment variables (never in course content)However, no internet-based system is 100% secure.
You are responsible for protecting your password. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password immediately and contact us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction: Update inaccurate information.
Deletion: Request account termination and data deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
Opt-out of marketing emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional email.
Opt-out of cookies: Adjust your browser settings or use our cookie consent tool.

Note: Even after deletion, some data may remain visible if shared publicly (e.g., forum posts). We also retain data as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
Children’s Privacy Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must create an account for you. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
